A very, very busy week in the Merlin classroom. The fruit kebab lesson on Monday was a great success and the children really enjoyed making their own fruit kebab and mocktails.
We have been focusing our maths and English on the Easter Story. We have made comic strips, written a class book of the events and completing some Easter mysteries and finding the culprit using our mathematical skills. On Tuesday afternoon we went to the church and had a fantastic time learning about the Easter story.
On Wednesday we had our showcase and thank you to all parents who came - the projects were amazing and I'm so impressed with all of the effort they put in. Pictures of the trip and the showcase will be on the main page.
I hope you all have a lovely Easter and I'll see you on Monday 29th April, ready for our 'Who invented the circus?' hook. Don't forget your comfy cushions for the film afternoon!
