In English this week we have been learning about the features of persuasive texts. The children enjoyed writing symbols and inventing actions to remember the passage.
In Maths we have been focussing on the 8 times table and the children are starting to remember and apply these to their work. Please continue to practise tables at home, ‘Hit the Button’ is an online game the children really enjoy.
We hope you have now had time to use ‘Spelling Shed’ and try out some of the games. The children are enjoying the challenge of trying to beat each other’s scores.
Please remember the homework projects are due in on Monday. Please ensure all parts are clearly labelled with names as they may not be kept together in our display. You are invited to see some of the work at our ‘Jobs Fair’ on Thursday at 2.45pm.
