This week, we have had a brilliant, and thought-provoking, time learning about Global Warming and the affects that humans have had on the planet. The discussion that we had in class was mature and we generated some brilliant ideas on how to reduce the impact of global warming. We then wrote a letter to Theresa May about how we could the government could help. The letters were well-written, emotive and made Miss Jordan a very proud teacher!
In English, we were in our 'invent' stage and created our hot writes, yet again some fantastic pieces of writing and another proud teacher moment! Great use of the toolkit and features!
In Maths we have started our unit on decimals and looking into what tenths and hundredths are. It was a little tricky at first to think about what they meant but we have really grasped it in the later lessons! Keep it up.
We finished the week with a comedy show in honour of Comic Relief - we definitely have some comedians in the class.
Have a lovely weekend and I'll see you on Monday!
