This week we have been learning more about the features of myths. We have learned about using similes and double adjectives to improve descriptions. We have thought about mythical creatures and written detailed descriptions of them.
In maths we have been learning to calculate perimeter and work out the length of missing sides of shapes. We are moving on to fractions next week. This is a super aspect of maths to work on at home as it can be made very practical. For example you could ask questions such as “if you eat ¼ of the pizza, what fraction will be left?”
A couple of reminders. Our Greek dress-up day will be next Friday 5th April. Secondly, homework projects should be brought into school on Monday the 8th of April ready for our showcase afternoon for parents and family at 3pm on Tuesday 9th April.
