In maths we have been learning to calculate perimeter and work out the length of missing sides of shapes. We are moving on to fractions next week. This is a super aspect of maths to work on at home as it can be made very practical. For example you could ask questions such as “if you eat ¼ of the pizza, what fraction will be left?”
In topic work this week we have discussed how inventions have changed and been improved over time. We have examined a selection of cameras from the Box Brownie to the I-Phone .The children were fascinated by the different styles of camera, film types and even flash cubes.
