We have had a super week starting to learn our Harvest song ready for our Harvest Festival Service on 15th October.
In maths this week we have been adding numbers mentally and thinking about how numbers change as they cross between ones and tens. We have all really enjoyed using Mathletics and most children have tried logging on and having a go at some of the activities. Most children now have a log in so they can access this at home. There are lots of games and activities that support our work in the classroom.
In English we have started to look at the format of a recount so that we can use the same structure to plan and write our own recounts. We have also been thinking about how to use conjunctions to link two parts of the sentence and make it more interesting.
As the weather is now getting a little more unpredictable, please ensure your child has their coat in school every day as we try to get outside at break times as much as possible.
