Maths

We follow the White Rose scheme for maths. The aim of White Rose is to develop a culture of deep understanding, confidence and competence in maths. The mastery approach gives children full access to maths and aims to produce strong and secure learners. Children will develop their fluency, problem solving and reasoning. 

- Fluency – providing accurate answers using a set method.

- Problem solving – solving problems using mathematical resources.

- Reasoning- a skill that enables children to articulate the answers to problems.
