Poole's Cavern Trip - 11th September 2018
What a fantastic trip to Poole's Cavern we had! The whole day went really well. The coach arrived on time, and aside from a little bit of morning traffic, we got there safely. The children were so excited and intrigued to explore the caves. We had an amazing tour guide called Chris who guided the children through the caves, and bringing imagination to their eyes. The children were astounded by the colours, shapes and textures of the rock formations that they saw. They particularly liked the stalagmite that looked like a cat! At the end of the tour, we saw a glistening white crystal and some children were using amazing descriptive language to describe it. We then had lunch and all the children had a turn browsing the gift shop before we headed home. The children had exceptional behaviour, and I am really proud of how mature and well behaved they were. Thank you to the parents volunteers that came along, as well as Mrs Wain and Mrs Ward. Pictures will be uploaded soon. There is a link below that leads you on a virtual tour of Poole's Cavern.
