WE RESPECT, WE TAKE PRIDE, WE SUCCEED

Topic Project

During the Summer Term, we will be looking at everything under the sea. We will be looking at oceans, marine creatures, using watercolours for art and much, much more. As part of our topic, I would like each child to create their own piece of work to showcase at our Topic Project afternoon.

Each child can choose one of these projects to complete.

1. Produce a fact file about one of your favourite sea creatures.

2. Paint a picture of the seaside or of a beach.

3. Write a short story that is set in the ocean.

4. Write an under the sea alphabet.

The due date is Tuesday 4th June.   Parents will be invited to come on Wednesday 5th June at 2:50pm. We would love to see as much creative work from the children as possible. We are excited to see your creations!

Spring Topic Projects

Our termly homework project is based on 'Let's Save Earth'. We would like the children to choose one of these activities to complete by Tuesday 26th February. We would like to invite you to come see the topic projects and work on Wednesday 27th February at 2:50pm. We look forward to seeing you there.

The activities are

  1. Create your own leaflet or poster about an endangered animal. If you do not wish to do this, then you could do a poster on how to protect the environment.
  2. Create your own plant out of recycled materials.
  3. Write a persuasive letter to Mr Tague, telling him about what we need to do in school to protect the environment

We hope you will enjoy getting involved with these creative tasks

Autumn Topic Project

Our termly homework project is based on 'Cavemen'. We would like the children to choose one of these activities to complete by Wednesday 24th October. It was originally the 26th of October, however because of the WW1 Remembrance Week and half term, we have had to move the time a bit earlier. We would like to invite you to come see the topic projects and work on Thursday 25th October at 2:45pm. We look forward to seeing you there.

The activities are

  1. Make a cave out of a shoe box.
  2. Make a cave painting (or paint a caveman).
  3. Write an imaginative story about a woolly mammoth.

We hope you will enjoy getting involved with these creative tasks!
