The Robins have asked the question 'What grows in our garden?' this week. We have all planted a bean seed and look forward to seeing them grow. Already they are sprouting roots whilst stood on the windowsill. We look forward to planting them outside when they are big enough. We wonder if there will be a castle at the top! We have begun our bean diaries which follow their growth.
We have continued our stories about Jack and the Beanstalk and everyone has used the story map created last week to help us write a short version of the story. They look fantiastic! Do come and see them on our writing wall.
In maths we have been partitioning numbers - finding different ways to make a number using our special 'whole part model' diagram. The children have all really got to grips with this.
Everyone has enjoyed using our new interactive board for playing games and painting pictures of plants. The whole school is very fortunate to have a new one per class.
Hopefully next week shall see some better weather where we can spend more time outside; planting our garden and enjoying the Forest School.
Please find a letter in bookbags, regarding our trip on 7 June to Twycross Zoo.
See you all on Monday
