We've had a fabulous Pizza Week this week! The Robins have made pizzas by choosing and preparing their favourite toppings, cooking them and eating them! They have also written recounts of how they made their pizzas which has resulted in some super writing! They have also made pizzas with playdough, collage material on the art table and giant ones on the carpet as a group. They have labelled their ingredients by carefully reading the words to match their toppings.
In maths we have been learning about capacity and using the vocabulary 'full, nearly full, half full, nearly empty and empty' and ordered and compared the capacity of different containers as well as counting how many scoops it takes to fill them.
We really enjoyed investigating the forest school on Thursday as there was a fantastic frost! We went on a frost hunt and spotted some amazingly beautiful sights - from spider webs to branches. Pictures are on the forest school section.
Next week we are learning all about celebrating Chinese New Year! Gong Xi Fa Cai!
