All of the children and staff returned refreshed and ready to continue our project on WW1.
Our English focus has been on diary writing from the teddy bear's perspective. The diary entries have been superb. There were 3 entries- one when leaving home; one in the rucksack going to France on a boat; one being in the trenches. We used games, the forest school and internet to inform our writing.
In maths, we have conquered addition with exchange. Onwards and upwards.
In our WW1 topic, we have completed some great art work which is on display in the library area and in the classroom. We also baked a 'trench cake'. There were some great ideas about why it had that name. It tasted delicious.
Well done, Otters you worked hard this week. We are very proud of you!
