This week in Maths we have continued with our multiplication. We have been applying the methods that we have learnt to help us to solve word problems. We have also been looking at division using the short division method and we have also looked at what to do where there are remainders.
In English we have completed and edited our innovates. We then found out some information about the 2011 Christchurch earthquake. We looked at some pictures of the damage and we imagined that we were in the pictures, interviewing each other and recording this as reported and direct speech. We then boxed up our ideas for our final newspaper reports.
In topic we have compared the average temperature and rainfall of Wellington and London. We drew climate graphs which made it easier for us to see the similarities and differences. We have also learnt about earthquakes and we have written about how you can be prepared and stay safe during an earthquake.
