Welcome back Badgers.
We hope you have all had a good rest over half term. This week seems to have flown by!
We have been very busy completing our work on WW1. We have researched different war medals and created our own using a range of materials. Thank you if you sent in some resources. Our medals were on display, along with all of our other work, on Friday afternoon, we hope you enjoyed looking at them.
We have also been working on diary entries in our English lessons. We have used a novel ‘War Horse’ by Michael Morpurgo as a stimulus. The children have emphasised with the characters in the story and have written their own diary entries.
In Maths, we have been working on fractions, we will be working on different aspects of fractions for a few weeks. There is a lot to learn! This week we have looked at simplifying fractions, finding equivalent fractions and positioning them on a number line.
We were very lucky to have a PE session taken by some PE specialists- the children loved playing quick cricket! We have one more session next Friday! Please send your child with appropriate clothing to be outside, it is getting quite cold now.
Have a great weekend!
