We have had another busy week in the Puffins class.
In English we have worked together to write a set of instructions for giving a woolly mammoth a makeover! The children have now started to plan their own instructions for another Stone Age task of their own, these have included: How to cook a Stone Age meal, How to tame a Hyena, How to build a Tent and How to sleep in a Cave. All very exciting instructions which we look forward to reading! We have also been learning about time conjunctions.
Within Maths, we have been learning to add and subtract 1,10 and 100 by looking at patterns and place value. Please can we remind you to keep practicing times tables with the children as much as possible, as well as bringing in Wacky Times Tables for the board.
In our Topic lessons we have also written some super diary entries about life in the Stone Age.
Our Puffin News board is also starting to look very interesting to read. Keep bringing all your exciting News in. We do love reading it!
