WE RESPECT, WE TAKE PRIDE, WE SUCCEED

11.3.22

This week in English, we have been learning about the features of a recount text. We have read several recounts and found these common features. We will be continuing with work on particular features such as pest tense next week.

In maths, we have been learning to compare, add and subtract with lengths. The hardest part of this is remembering to convert to common units before you start. We also had fun on Friday as we learned how to make a magic square. The children really enjoyed this and will amaze you with their skills!

We have a busy week next week with extra activities as it is Science week and Red nose day on Friday. Children can come dressed up on Friday and bring in a bottle top to represent their donation via Parent Pay to add to our giant Red Nose. They can also bring in a few shop- bought cakes for us to sell in class. Other details will be on the Website.

Finally, if you do not intend to redeem your child’s Book voucher and wish to donate it, we will go and collect some of the £1 books to read in our class.
