This week in our English, we have written our own instructions in English and your children should now be able to explain ‘How to ride a unicorn, tame a dragon or even feed a phoenix’! They really enjoyed the task and came up with some fantastic ideas and vocabulary. Next week we are moving on to Adventure/ Mystery stories.
In Maths, we have focused on equivalent fractions. This is a really tricky concept and any additional support at home would be of great benefit. Next week we are learning to compare and order fractions followed by adding and subtracting fractions.
In our science work, we have talked about protecting our eyes from sunlight and we have designed our own sunglasses. We are hoping for some sunshine next week so we can finish our work on shadows.
When learning spellings at home, could you please make sure you talk about the meanings of words and try to use them in some sentences.
Finally, please check your child's Teams page to check you have received your meeting invitation in the calendar for parent consultation.
