Well we are nearly ready for the Christmas holidays.
After completing some assessments and consolidation, your children have done some lovely work this week whilst still having fun. We have done some Christmas maths problem solving and even tried some problems set by GCHQ!
During lunch times, and finished off on Friday afternoon, the children watched the film of Babe, then compared it to our guided reading book which it was based on -The Sheep Pig.
The children have also worked really hard on a range of craft activities which they really enjoyed. Even though these are fun, they have developed fine motor skills such as tying a simple knot and cutting.
The children will have PE as normal on Monday.
We are not setting homework over the holiday, but please encourage them to read and continue with times tables etc, whilst having some family fun.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support during these tricky times, and wish you all a very Happy Christmas and a Peaceful New year.
