It's been another busy week in the Eagles!
In English, we have come to the end of our mini unit on inference and applied all that we've learnt about Sam to writing a biography about his life. I've been absolutely blown away by the standard of their writing so far - well done, Eagles!
In Maths we have been focussing a lot on rounding any number to the nearest 10, 100, 1,000, 10,000, 100,000 and even 1,000,000! We have really perservered with this and by the end all children have made a lot of progress. Today we started to look at negative numbers and will finish this off on Monday.
In other areas of the curriculum we have looked at the importance of 'Being me' and embracing our differences, completed some beautiful artwork about looking through the window of Repton's past, particularly the period of the world wars, victorians and the vikings. We have thought about our soul in RE, played some football rounders and learnt about adaptation in science. What a week!
It's been a lovely week and we hope the Eagles (and you) enjoy your well-earned weekend!
