This week in English, we have been writing our “Hot write” of a story from another culture. The children have worked hard to include all of the grammar and sentence construction they have been learning about in the last few lessons. Next week, we will edit to make a final version.
In Maths, we have now come to the end of our block of addition and subtraction work. Next week we will be starting a block of multiplication and division. With this in mind, please work on times tables with your children as much as possible.
On Wednesday, we had a super time at Repton pool. The children worked in groups on a circuit with instructors in the water. They learned about water safety and staying afloat as well as improving skills and confidence.
It was lovely to see all of the children dressed up for Children in Need Day today. Thank you for all of your donations.
This week has also been Anti-bullying week. The odd socks helped us think about how every one is different. We also talked about this in class.
