We have made it! Our final week of what has been a long, and at times challenging, term.
This week we have lots of festive fun including lots of Christmas Crafts, some fun Christmassy maths and English and enjoyed our party day on Thursday – sorry for sending home lots of sugar-ridden children!
The Eagles have coped brilliantly this term and it seems like so long ago that for some of them, September was the first time in school since March. They have not only coped with that, but the expectations of Year 6 and the 2 weeks we went to online learning. I am so proud of them and they thoroughly deserve a rest and a chance to recharge their batteries.
In that respect, I have not given out any homework or spellings but I have asked that they do continue to read and if they have a bit of spare time, to go on TTRS, Spelling Shed and Maths Shed.
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and we will see you back in the New Year on Tuesday 5th January.
