The end of term has come around so quickly. We have had a lovely last week developing the children’s personal learning skills by asking them to work together in pairs to research and write about the Northern Lights. We are really looking forward to seeing their finished work.
In English, we have focussed on comprehension and up-levelling sentences again this week. After the holiday, we will be starting a new block of work on ‘Recount’. One of their first tasks will be to write about one event from the holiday. This could be anything at all even just a good walk or an afternoon in the park or with relatives. Perhaps keeping a little diary over the week could help them remember what they have done.
In maths, we will be starting a new block on length and measurement. Any extra practical activities that you can do would be a great support.
We hope you like the class photograph!
Have a lovely week.
