WE RESPECT, WE TAKE PRIDE, WE SUCCEED

19.11.21

Well, we have had another busy week this week.  We have been multiplying and dividing this week, learning about rationing and finishing our work all about water that we will share with the Kenyan schools very soon.

Maths this week has involved us multiplying and dividing by 10, 100 and 1000.  We have looked for patterns in the answers and thought about how we can calculate multiplying and dividing by other multiples of 10, 100 and 1,000.

In English we have written and edited our Anne Frank biographies.  I have been so impressed with the work that children have produced, they have beautifully captured Anne’s life and the struggles that she went through as well as explained very clearly why she is such an important historical figure.  Well done Eagles!

It's been wonderful to come back to the children on Monday as Mrs Cotton and they had decorated the classroom full of posters! I would also like to thank Mrs Webb for taking such good care of the Eagles - they have got her on Tuesday morning whilst I have an online meeting with the schools in Kenya so not long to go until they are reunited!

Just a reminder that if you do have any photos for the voluntary photography project, please send them in by Monday 22nd.

The children had a brilliant day today dressing up for Children In Need.  The cake sale was very popular with everyone and when we have a total we will let you know.

Thank you

Stay safe and have a lovely weekend!
