WE RESPECT, WE TAKE PRIDE, WE SUCCEED

19th November

This week has been great again. We have continued our work on fractions. Miss Hobbs and I have been very impressed with the children’s knowledge of how to compare, order, add and subtract fractions. Well done.

In English this week we have been looking at Ade’s emotions from the Boy in the Tower.  We have also focussed on some areas of grammar.  (Relative clauses, commas to clarify meaning, hyphens).

This week has been anti-bullying week, this year the message is–One Kind Word. We discussed how we can help one another and investigated some different scenarios. The children were very sensible with their contributions.

Thank you for taking part in Children in Need today, we had loads of cakes to sell, so hopefully a great donation from the Ravens.

Thank you for your time this week, it was great to speak to you.
