WE RESPECT, WE TAKE PRIDE, WE SUCCEED

20.5.22

This week in English, we have completed our own instructions for tasks as varied as’ How to fly a unicorn’ to ‘How to trap a wear-wolf’! The children had fun doing this and showing the skills they have learned. After the holiday, we will start our new unit on Adventure Stories.

In maths this week, we have completed our work on fractions. Next week, we will begin a block of work on Time. This can be a tricky topic, particularly as many clocks and watches we now use are in digital format. Please spend a little time (no pun!), working on the skill of telling the time with your child using past and to the hour.

We are really looking forward to all of our Jubilee celebrations next week. Please don’t forget to send a packed lunch on Thursday if your child did not order sandwiches. Please ensure they have suitable clothing to be out-doors for our party as the weather is so changeable at the moment.
