WE RESPECT, WE TAKE PRIDE, WE SUCCEED

21.10.22

It feels like we have been back at school much longer than 7 weeks! But we are all very well-deserving of a half-term break!

This week it has been a lovely, but very busy, week. We have had our Bikeability session on Wednesday and Shaun and Joe (the instructors) and Mrs Abell said how proud they were of all of them. Well done, Eagles!

In Maths we have been continuing multiplication and division and this week learned about prime numbers, square numbers and cube numbers. We have enjoyed it (I think, despite a tricky cube lesson on Thursday) and I think we are all realising how important our times tables are.

In English we have been writing mad! In the beginning of the week we were writing our report up in our books for our first draft and then we have published it for the writing wall. We have spent a few lessons making it look like a real broadsheet and they look very professional! Super work, Eagles!

In Topic we have been looking at propaganda posters, analysing them and then creating our own! In RE we have been learning about Diwali due to this taking place on Monday and in Science we have finished off our unit at looking at how to separate different mixtures.

As detailed in last week's message, I won't be sending home any homework this week but there will be spellings to practise.

Have a lovely half-term break all,

Mrs Cotton
