WE RESPECT, WE TAKE PRIDE, WE SUCCEED

21.10.22

This first half term has gone so quickly and we can’t believe the holiday is here already!

It has been a very busy week this week. It was lovely to meet you all at parent’s evenings and share with you how well your children are settling in and the progress they are starting to make. We hope you had the chance to look around our Book Fair and maybe buy a new book. The school receives book credits as a percentage of the total amount we sell, which we use to update our library.  The pumpkin lighting evening arranged by our wonderful PTA was also a great event. The pumpkins looked fantastic!

In English this week we have written our information texts and edited them to improve them.

In Maths, we have been looking at adding and subtracting where you need to exchange or regroup numbers.

This week we have sent the normal homework which is a comprehension. In addition to this, some parents asked for some extra work for over the holidays to support their children. Please don’t feel you have to do this or send it back, it is a little extra you can do at any time if you wish.

We will test List 6 Spellings after the holiday.

We hope you all have a lovely break.
