Well what a tricky week this has been!
Working at home is really not what we want for your children but hopefully this will be the last time this has to happen. We are so immensely proud of all of the children. Even those who have been poorly, have still been completing work each day and doing the very best they can. Parents, I can not thank you enough. It must have been so difficult to manage home learning, work and childcare this week. On top of that, learning how to make the technology work for you must have been a challenge. Even after doing this last year, it was still a challenge for me to remember how to do everything!
All that said, we have got through it all together. We must try to take the positives from something like this. The work has been great and many children have had to do this more independently and become more self -reliant. The skills they have learned this week, using Teams, taking part in meetings, saving editing and uploading work etc will not be wasted at all. These will be skills they will use in future and ones that can make life easier at times!
We look forward to seeing as many children back in school as are able next week. To keep everyone as safe as possible, please test children before return to school if you are able.
Have a lovely weekend.
Spellings for next week.
