What a busy first half term we have had in Year 5. The children have worked so hard and are definitely well-deserving of a good half term break.
This week we have revised some areas of SPAG that we have looked at this half term and also finished our final Newspaper Article.
We have carried on with our Statistics Unit in Maths and the children have learnt how to solve problems using Line Graphs as well as drawing our own. We have looked at tables towards the end of the week and used some timetables to problem solve. We have noticed that some children do struggle with time so if you could do any extra practise at home, it will only help them in the future.
The children have now got the rest of the half term holiday to practise their Spelling list 6 and complete their English and Maths homework.
