We have had a busy week in school and thank you for those who came to the parents’ meeting. The power point is on the website, but please put a note in books or email if you have any questions.
The children all looked very smart for their photographs this week and we hope you get some pictures to treasure.
In English this week, we have been thinking about characters and settings for our Roman story. Thank you for sending in craft materials as these helped the children make a mythical creature for their story. It has been great to see some children doing extra research at home. We will be continuing the story next week, building it together as a class and developing individual ideas.
In maths, we have continued with place value looking at how we can represent numbers with diagrams and physical apparatus. Next week we will also be learning to add and subtract 1s, 10s, and 100s.
There were a couple of glitches with Spelling Shed this week. If you see a problem please let me know. The correct lists should now appear.
