Another very busy week in the Eagles class. We have carried on thinking about mould, written instruction for intrepid explorers and learnt about the process of fossilisation.
Maths this week has seen us think about percentages, converting them to decimals and fractions and comparing them. This has allowed us to think about equivalent fractions and cancelling down fractions as well.
In English we have finished our Hot Write Instructions. The children have really impressed me with how well they edited and improved their writing, this is becoming a skill that they are definitely developing as they go on.
We have carried on observing our pieces of bread to see which ones develop mould. Our dirty hands were obviously very dirty!
We have also continued with our Fitness unit in PE looking at agility, compared how different religions pray in RE and how to search effectively on the internet.
If you have any last-minute queries about the residential please don’t hesitate to email me on the class email address.
We hope you have a lovely weekend!
Have fun packing,
Stay safe
