I can't believe it, another half term has gone in the blink of an eye!
It's been a fun, yet busy, week! We have been learning about pie charts in Maths, learning how to read them using percentages and then we spent two lessons learning how to draw them. This has been incredibly tricky as we have to use a protractor to measure the angles as well as multiply or dividing to find the degrees but we have done a really fab job!
In English we have been planning and writing our own flashback based on 'The Piano' and they are all beautiful!! We will be writing these up when we return but the work produced is stunning and you should all be very proud of them!
In Topic we have been learning about the Battle of Britain and we have been making 3D models of spitfires and the prefab houses that would have been common place after thousands of houses got destroyed during the Blitz.
We have also had a great session of G.O.A.L on Thursday, lots of song practice with Mrs Eaton and we enjoyed our end of term treat; although the film was apparently 'very predictable' - what a review!
Just a reminder that the week we return is Bikeability and I'm sure I've bamboozled you with enough information but I will be on my laptop throughout the week if you have any last minute questions.
Have a lovely half term break!
