Today in Forest Schools we looked for signs of Spring. We noticed daffodils, buds on trees and bushes and new leaves starting to sprout on trees. We then made nature bracelets. We collected leaves, petals and grass and stuck them to our bracelets. We were careful to only pick leaves and petals from the ground or from well flowering bushes and trees that would continue to produce leaves and petals. The children were very careful to only take a tiny amount (just the amount they needed) and no more. Our nature bracelets looked fantastic.
