We hope you all had a fantastic holiday and all ready for a busy lead up to Christmas.
We have had a fantastic week in Squirrels this week and in English we have started to learn about diaries. We will be learning all about the features over the next few lessons.
In Maths we have been learning to subtract up to four-digit numbers using a range of methods including formal column methods. Please remember to keep working on times tables at home and building up the speed of instant recall rather than having to work them out.
In the science part of our topic work, we have been learning about changing states of matter and in particular how water can change by freezing, melting, boiling and condensing.
A quick reminder, next week is anti- bullying week and we will be wearing odd socks on Tuesday.
In addition, we will be supporting Children in Need next Friday by coming out of uniform with a theme of stripes or sports-wear and bringing a donation of 50p.
This week’s spellings
Year 3- redo, refresh, return, reappear, redecorate, revenge, review, replay, reaction, rebound
Year 4- information, sensation, preparation, vibration, decoration, donation, duration, registration, population, determination
