This week we have started our unit on addition and subtraction and it's been a brilliant start. We have looked at what happens when we add and subtract and have started adding 1s, multiples of 10 and multiples of 100. Today we started to look at what happens when we exchange. It's a tricky concept and some of us were a bit panicked but we will have lots of practice over the next few weeks!
In English we have been innovating our model text and written a text about how to get a hyperactive woolly mammoth to sleep. We have also looked at the importance of time conjunctions (or adverbs of time) and started to plan out our invent for next week.
We've also written stone age diaries, done lots of PE, practised our Harvest song and looked at the torah in Judaism.
A reminder that on Monday morning we will be going to St Wystan's for our Harvest Service which is due to start at 10:00 and if you would like to help walk down, we would love the company!
