ReptonPrimary School

WE RESPECT, WE TAKE PRIDE, WE SUCCEED

Fri 29th April

We hope you all had a lovely break for Easter.

This half term is a very short but very full and busy half term, with SAT's and our residential.

We have been working on our final maths topic- properties of shapes and in particular this week working on angles. The children have done well with this, especially  as we have been doing some of the lessons in the afternoons too.

In English, we have started a new topic where we have looked at a model text 'The Nightmare man'.  We have worked a lot on the authors choice of vocabulary and the effect this has on the reader. We have then used figurative language to enhance our work.

Next week we will be completing the maths and English units and spending time going over some areas for revision before SAT's week.

We would love to see you on Thursday after school for the residential meeting if you can attend, if you are unable to attend, we will be putting the information on our class page for your reference.

Have a lovely weekend,

The Ravens Team
