Today we will focus on our phonics. There are several stages to today's learning. Please do as much or as little as you are able.
1. Please practise saying the sounds of the different graphemes by playing "Flashcards Speed trial" on Phonics Play. The link is below:

Click on phase 3.
2. Next try writing words containing the phase 3 sounds you have just practised. (See attached sheet). If this is too tricky, then take the phase 2 option, or if you would like more of a challenge, then please try sounding out and writing the phase 4 words which include beginning and end blends.
3. Reading sentences. Please try reading the sentences. Again, there are three options available (phase 2, 3 or 4). See attached sheets.
4. Your final task (if you choose to do it) is to write a sentence using words containing the sounds you have been practising. Look at the picture (see attached sheet). The sentence we would like you to write is: "I can see lots of shells on the sand."
