Look at the picture of Claude Monet's 'Water Lilies'.  What do you like about it / not like about it?  What colours can you see?  How does it make you feel?

 

Can you find out about Claude Monet?  When did he live?  Where did he live?  Why is he famous?

 

Look at the picture of Claude Monet's 'Water Lilies'.

  • Paint your own picture of water lilies.  Choose your colours carefully.
  • Create a collage picture of water lilies using materials such as tissue paper, real petals, cotton wool, etc.

 

The water lilies are floating on the water. Can you investigate some things that float or sink on water at home?
