We have been very busy owls this week!
It has been assessment week across the school. We completed a variety of papers on arithmetic, reasoning, comprehension and SPAG. The children all worked extremely hard and should be very proud of themselves- we certainly are!
In and amongst our busy schedule this week, we have also been celebrating 'Science Week'. As a class, we considered the water crisis in some areas of the world, in particular Africa. Can you tell someone at home what the water crisis is? What can we do to help? We conducted a science experiment investigating water filters and how they filter dirty, unsafe water. Can you tell someone at home how we conducted the experiment? What materials did we need to build our water filter?
Thank you to all those who attended the SATs meeting on Monday evening. I hope that you found it insightful. If you weren't able to attend, or you would like a refresher, please find the PowerPoint presentation within the 'SATs' tab on our class homepage. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
I hope you all have a well-deserved relaxing weekend! Only 3 more weeks until the Easter holidays!
