What a lovely Christmassy final full week we have had in Puffins! It has included Carol concert practice, two nativities and lots of finishing of topics and units.
We finished our Maths unit of Multiplication and Division this week, the children worked very hard on their 3, 4 and 8 times tables answering word problems involving them. We then practiced all of our times tables in lots of different ways. Super times tabling Puffins!
In English we finished our unit on Alliteration poems. The children created some wonderful poetry involving lots of different animals, wonderful varied vocabulary and beautiful imagery. We also created some Christmas alliteration poems too, some beautiful Christmassy creations!
We were given the wonderful opportunity to watch the Robins Nativity. They worked so hard on their show and we really enjoyed watching them. We also got to watch Key Stage 1’s: Lights, Camel, Action at the 400 Hall. How nice to be able to walk down to a show at the 400 Hall after 3 long years of not being able to go!
Thank you to all of the hard work the children have put in learning their Carol concert song as well as the signing for it. You are in for a wonderful treat on Monday morning. Thank you to those of you who have offered to walk down with us on Monday to the church and we look forward to seeing you there if you can make it.
Thank you and I hope you have a lovely Christmassy last weekend before we break up for Christmas,
Stay safe
