Well, we have had another busy week this week.  We have been multiplying and dividing this week, learning about rationing and thinking about the importance of Allah and his qualities to Muslims.

Maths this week has involved us multiplying and dividing by 10, 100 and 1000.  We have looked for patterns in the answers and thought about how we can calculate multiplying and dividing by other 100 numbers.

In English we have written and edited our Anne Frank biographies.  I have been so impressed with the work that children have produced, they have beautifully captured Anne’s life and the struggles that she went through as well as explained very clearly why she is such an important historical figure.  Well done Puffins!

We have carried on looking at the question ‘What do different people believe about God?’ in RE.  This week we focused on the 99 names that Muslims use to refer Allah.  How these names remind them to be thankful for all they believe he has done for them and the world.  To encourage us to think about how we can live a thankful life we have created a Thankful Tree.

The children had a brilliant day today dressing up for Children In Need.  The cake sale was very popular with everyone and when we have a total we will let you know.

Thank you

Stay safe and have a lovely weekend!
