Well done Owls for another wonderful week!
We have completed our 'Place Value' unit in maths this week! I am really proud of each and every one of you. You have all worked incredible hard over the last 4 weeks. This week, we have been identifying and representing numbers between 0 to 100 on a number line. Can you tell someone at home what an estimate is? We have also been counting in 2s, 3s, 5s and 10s this week! Can you show someone at home your brilliant counting?
2, 4, 6...
3, 6, 9...
5, 10, 15...
10, 20, 30...
Next week, we will be beginning our new maths unit: Addition and Subtraction!
In English, we have looked at our new model text 'The Queen's Crown'. Can you tell someone at home about the story? We boxed up the text and also innovated it this week too! Can you remember which section we innovated? What was the corgi's new brilliant idea to trap the sneaky swan? We have also been looking at adverbs ending in -ly and co-ordinating conjunctions (and, but, or). Can you turn these adjectives in adverbs? Remember 'change the 'y' to an 'i' and add 'ly'.
In topic, we made a map of the school and labelled it! We also made famous UK landmarks out of logo! Check out our picture below! Which landmark did you make?
Have a lovely weekend!
