Well, we have had a very busy last week of term. We finished our Science investigation (some very mouldy bread), completed some incredible comparison studies and did very well in our end of term assessments!
The children have blown me away with their comparison studies! They researched both Brasilia and London and all of the different categories for them to compare very well. We thought about the layout of our reports (making sure we compared each area in one paragraph) and how we could display our information in the most effective way. The children then created some wonderful comparison studies, that not only have amazing information in them (which show how much we have learnt about our topic) but are also beautifully presented. Well done Puffins, some brilliant English and Geography work!
Our Science experiment ended with some very mouldy bread, but thankfully proved that we do wash our hands well and that this does limit the spread of germs and dirt! As the bread touched with washed hands was much less revolting than the bread touched with dirty and even hand-sanitised hands!
The children worked very hard on their assessments this week and were very sensible when completing them.
It was lovely to speak to you all in the children’s parent’s consultations. If there are any questions that should arise over Easter about anything please let me know on the class email as usual.
I hope you enjoyed looking at all of the photos from Whitemoor Lakes.
I hope you have a lovely, chocolate-filled relaxing Easter and come back raring to go for our final term of Year 5!
