We have had a very busy week this week completing lots of assessments and doing some brilliant activities related to STEM week.
In Maths we have continued learning about fractions and we have been adding fractions.
In English we have been learning about using speech marks correctly and how to make sentences more interesting by using expanded noun phrases.
Our Science week focussed on South America. We discovered that in the Amazon Rainforest the police use hover boards to catch criminals. So, we set about creating our own! The Puffins worked brilliantly creating their own examples, well done!
Due to restrictions at Repton School relating to Corona Virus, there will be no further swimming for the time being. We will let you know when there is any change in the situation.
Year 3 – arrival, burial, comical, emotional, national, magical, personal, optional, survival, tropical.
Year 4 - digraph, naughty, caught, fraught, automatic, astronaut, cause, author, applaud, taught, audience.
We hope you all have a wonderful and safe weekend.
