We have read the story of Little Red Riding Hood this week, ordered the story and written words or sentences to say what happened.
We have also learned about why the poppy is an important symbol and all the children really felt emotive watching the CBeebies animation here - https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b04p4zsl
and we’re able to explain in their own way why we remember with the poppy.
All the children made poppies at the art table using circle to draw around and then cut out and many even continued to do this independently throughout the week which shows great independent learning.
In maths we practised our number recognition and counting skills - matching numerals to amounts.
We all enjoyed Children in Need Day and had fun making Pudsey masks and pictures. Thank you for all your donations.
Next week we are learning about the Three Little Pigs!
