Week 2

We had such a lovely Forest School session today; making symmetrical butterflies!  The children really grasped the concept of doubling and symmetry, by finding a pair of leaves or flowers and sticking them into the holes of a pre-cut butterfly shape.   We talked about having to double what was on one side and making the two sides the same.  They did so well and the butterflies look beautiful!
