Week 4
This week we explored the Forest with our senses! We went on a hunt to see what our fingers could feel, and described the many textures that we felt using words like 'rough, smooth, bumpy, hard, cold, etc' We listened to the sounds in the forest and thought about what we could smell in the air! We also talked about what colours we could see and how the forest has changed now it's autumn - there are so many leaves on the ground! Which were great fun for crunching through in our wellies as well and throwing in the air! We used our sense of taste only when we enjoyed our hot chocolate with a lovely story about hibernating animals.
