The Robins have enjoyed our 'I am Special, I am Me' week this week; talking about the things they are good at and understanding that everyone is different although have the same feelings inside.
We have been practising our counting skills and number recognition as well as recapping and learning sounds - s, a, t, p, I, n, m.
The children have all brought home a reading book this week. Please share the book with your child as help them to tell you the story through the pictures. Talk about how the characters may feel and what they might be saying as well as the storyline. This will really help them to become good comprehenders. We will read with them at least once a week and change their books as necessary.
Each child also has the first set of red words which they should practise. Thank you for your help with this.
Unfortunately, our Forest School session didn't take place this week, due to a family of wasps in the log circle! We will keep you updated with this.
We will soon be sending home details of how to access your child's Tapestry account, where you will be able to see things they get up to at school.
