We have enjoyed our last week in school, despite all the poorly people!  We continued our Christmas topic; making decorations, singing songs, performing the Nativity, wearing Christmas jumpers, having our Christmas party and so on!

All the children wrote a letter to Santa.  You can see this on your child's Tapestry Journal.  Their sounding out is developing so well, we are really proud of them all.  

In maths we made letters to post through the doors of houses numbered 1,2,3,4,5.  The children had to draw 1-5 objects or shapes on the letters and post through the matching doors.  This is great for their counting 1-1 correspondence as well as subitising skills.  

We recorded the Nativity performance for you on Tuesday.  The children have done so well with this.  It will be ready to view via a link onto our secure private RPS YouTube channel.  The link will be sent to you over the next few days.

We loved our Christmas party and all had good fun, dancing, playing games and eating party food.  Some photos are on the main page of our class page - I will add the link to this below.
