WE RESPECT, WE TAKE PRIDE, WE SUCCEED

Week 7

We can’t believe it is the end of our year in Robins Class!  The children have worked so hard and are absolutely ready to continue their journey as Hedgehogs.

This week we have been learning all about what we might find in a rock pool.  We thought about the features of a beach, such as rocks, sand, sea, cliffs etc and learned that rock pools are formed when the sea is at high tide; bringing in sea creatures with it, then at low tide leaving them in pools for us to find!

We all talked about what we remember from our year in Robins class.  We have lots of lovely memories and the children came up with all sorts of lovely things.  They then wrote about their favourite memories.

We have enjoyed lots of playing with our favourite toys from this year before we move onto year 1 and discover the delights of a new classroom.  We have also enjoyed movie afternoon for the House winners (Haddon) and ate Gingerbread men and cupcakes.

We will miss our Robins so very much.  They have been a fantastic class and we will definitely be popping into Hedgehogs next year to see how they are settling in.

Have a wonderful summer holiday everyone!
